18 Sept 2020 – RISE UP calls on governments and businesses to take the bold, fair actions required to set the ocean on a course to recovery. Hundreds of organizations have already signed on to #RiseUp4TheOcean. 

About Rise Up

The RISE UP Blue Call to Action is a joint call by civil society, fisherfolk, Indigenous peoples and philanthropic organisations to governments and corporations to join us and agree to bold action to safeguard the ocean.

In May 2019, the Oceano Azul Foundation partnered together with Ocean Unite and Oak Foundation to bring together a small but influential group of organizations and foundations to agree on common priorities, objectives, and targets that drive solutions for the ocean crisis and raise the level of ambition for action.
