Ocean Action Hub

This video is a product of the EU Horizon 2020 funded Sea Change project (seachangeproject.eu).

Many European citizens are not aware of how our day-to-day actions can have a cumulative effect on the health of the ocean and seas – a necessary resource that must be protected for all life on the planet Earth to exist. In other words, many of us lack a sense of “Ocean Literacy”. By introducing this idea, the video highlights the importance of protecting the ocean by making choices that are more “ocean-friendly”. The video also provides an introduction to the Sea Change project, which aims to address the challenge of raising European citizens’ awareness of the intrinsic links between the ocean and human health.
