The World Ocean Festival is a public event hosted by the City of New York to raise peoples’ voices for the preservation and sustainable use of our oceans (SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL 14) in advance of the THE OCEAN CONFERENCE June 5-9, 2017, which aims to be the game changer that will reverse the decline in the health of our ocean for people, planet and prosperity. The event will include:

  • 12:00 - The Ocean March - New York Harbour - A first-of-its-kind parade of large and small boats on the water as a statement of unity for the ocean. More...
  • 10:00 am - 5:00 pm - Ocean Village - Gantry State Park, Long Island City - A celebration of art, education, innovation, and tools for action in support of the ocean. More...
